Job Summary/Objective: We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Content Marketer/Strategist to lead our content initiatives and drive our brand’s digital presence. This role will focus on creating and executing data-driven content strategies that engage audiences, enhance SEO performance, and support business goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of content marketing, audience segmentation, SEO, and analytics, with a passion for driving growth through compelling, results-oriented content.
Responsibilities:
- Develop Content Strategy: Create comprehensive content strategies that align with business goals, drive brand awareness, and generate leads.
- Content Planning & Execution: Oversee the planning, creation, and distribution of content across various platforms, including blogs, social media, email newsletters, and websites.
- SEO Optimization: Optimize content for SEO, conducting keyword research, implementing best practices, and tracking performance to improve search engine rankings.
- Audience Engagement: Identify key audience segments and tailor content to resonate with specific customer needs, pain points, and interests.
- Analytics & Reporting: Monitor and analyze content performance using analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, etc.), generating actionable insights to improve future strategies.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with marketing, design, and product teams to ensure content is aligned with branding, product messaging, and business objectives.
- Content Calendar Management: Manage content calendars to ensure timely delivery of content that supports seasonal campaigns, product launches, and other strategic initiatives.
- Content Optimization: Continuously optimize existing content to improve engagement, conversions, and SEO rankings.
- Stay Current with Trends: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, emerging content formats, and digital marketing tactics to incorporate innovative ideas into strategies.
- Lead and Mentor: Lead content initiatives and collaborate with junior writers, providing guidance and feedback for quality and consistency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- 3-4 years of experience in content marketing, content strategy, or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of SEO, digital marketing tactics, and content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
- Proven experience with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs) to measure and improve content performance.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Ability to create and implement strategies that engage and convert audiences.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- A creative mindset with a strategic approach to problem-solving.
- Experience with social media marketing and email campaigns is a plus.
