This person must possess the analytical abilities necessary to gather key business and user insights, and apply their strategic planning and excellent communication skills to create a long-term vision for the content that’s generated.
Responsibilities Include:
Building relationships with subject matter experts to create accurate and engaging content such as blog posts, whitepapers, ebooks, and social media copy
Collaboratively designs and implements content marketing campaigns with a focus on thought leadership and SEO strategy in order to attract target audiences
Optimizing content for SEO, incorporating best practices for search engine indexability and keyword strategy
Crafting copy for email blasts and drip campaign content geared toward various audiences (e.g., leads, prospects, customers, and partners)
Creating compelling stories through internal/external stakeholder interviews and transforming it into multi-channel content
Working with the team to come up with interesting ideas for content to generate leads and nurture prospects
Developing and executing social media strategy that support sales, marketing, and corporate objectives in addition to posting content on social channels and communicating to the internal team
The ideal candidate experience:
5 plus years B2B content marketing experience
Consider content from a holistic standpoint—systems, platforms, and channels—to create a unified narrative and user experience that delivers on conversion
Comprehend the power of strategic SEO
Excellent writing skills, with an emphasis on storytelling and consistency
Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
A successful track record of executing programs with cross-functional virtual teams
Experience using Salesforce, Wordpress, and SEMrush preferred
