About Us
At SimplePractice, our team is dedicated to improving the health and wellness industry by building a suite of innovative solutions for practitioners and their clients. Our product supports practitioners on their clinical journey to becoming licensed, helps them manage their business and practice once they’re up and running, and enables new clients to discover and interact with practitioners. Taking a practitioner-first approach in everything we do makes it possible for health and wellness practitioners to devote more time to their clients while they use SimplePractice to start, grow, and maintain a successful private practice.
The Role
We're seeking a full-time content design manager to lead our growing, one-year-old content design team. We’re looking for an experienced content design leader who’s still comfortable getting their hands dirty and executing on tasks.
SimplePractice content designers focus on user experience and product—this is not a copywriting, content marketing, or technical writing position. Our content designers are arbiters of language who use words to solve complex problems. They make our products easier to navigate and more delightful. They play a critical role in testing ideas, advocating for users, creating new features, and driving business value.
Our content design manager will be someone who can create interface content for SimplePractice products and also elevate content design as a discipline. This position requires a deep understanding of the role language plays in the UX design process. The ideal candidate understands how to use content to help users accomplish tasks as effectively and efficiently as possible. They will be a champion for consistency, accessibility, and writing as a differentiator.Â
This role involves managing two other content designers (and eventually hiring more) and working cross-functionally to represent content design across SimplePractice. It also involves individual-contributor work, including daily content design tasks, attending workshops, and participating in design crits.
