We are looking for a talented, creative digital content marketing professional to develop and lead our digital marketing strategy, with an emphasis on LinkedIn. Our ideal candidate is a process-driven, detail-oriented content creator who has demonstrated experience building and executing digital campaigns.
This role is part of Simplr’s Demand Generation team, which is responsible for generating leads that drive revenue and support a growing sales team. You’ll be a critical member of the team as we focus our efforts on engaging with target accounts and exposing the weaknesses of the outdated BPO (Business Processing Outsourcing) industry.
You’ll report directly to the Head of Demand Generation on the Simplr Marketing team and work closely with sales, events, and operations.
Role goals/KPIs:
- Generate sales meetings through digital campaigns
- Provide ongoing reporting, campaign insights and pacing toward goals to stakeholders
- Drive brand awareness/engagement on LinkedIn
Responsibilities
- Help us develop traditional AND out-of-the-box digital campaigns that (1) target the right people on LinkedIn and (2) drive brand awareness across digital channels
- Design, build and maintain Simplr’s social media presence (specifically LinkedIn)
- Work to plan, develop, edit, and distribute engaging videos via YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
- Create the “face of Simplr” for more human outreach/engagement
- Build a strategy that targets companies that currently have a BPO contract… how can we convince them to break the contract and go with Simplr instead?
- Execute an engagement strategy with target companies and contacts
- Audit our competitors. What are their marketing strategies and how can we outperform them?
- Be a digital channel learn-it-all. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate. We’re looking for someone who is unafraid to try new things.
- Create relevant content based on product and industry
Skills needed:
- Previous experience in digital content marketing or business development (3-5 years)
- Experience developing interesting (and valuable!) content through research and industry knowledge
- Ability to take ownership of our digital efforts and be a thought leader in the space.
- Experience with ABM and CRM tools (Hubspot, DemandBase, Salesforce, Apollo, Sales Navigator)
- Experience developing and executing content marketing and inbound marketing campaigns to generate more qualified leads.
- Solid background in creating and implementing marketing campaigns that use live events, webinars, digital advertising, and social networking.
- Familiar with the B2B technical sales cycle and can strategically use marketing communication to nurture leads, drive adoption, and accelerate growth.
- Team player that is able to work both collaboratively and autonomously
- Strong project management, time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
- Experience with paid media tools (Adwords, Facebook, LinkedIn)
