Content Manager 

Slalom is seeking a talented and versatile Content Manager to lead efforts in collecting, consolidating, and editing content in the form of stories, points-of-view, first call decks, and more from our 35+ Slalom markets and our Global team.   

You will join the Salesforce Global Team who supports Slalom’s Salesforce business globally. We amplify, organize, and operationalize Salesforce go-to-market strategies across Slalom’s markets with the goal of enabling teams to do more Salesforce-related work. 

You will also be responsible for the project leadership related to Go-to-Market initiatives like solutions development, capability asset development, and other industry assets related to the marketing plan. This will require strong skills in coordinating and managing efforts with our Marketing and Alliances teams, who are partners in content development and promotion. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead efforts in monitoring new customer stories, wins, and go-lives to inform content development and become knowledgeable about the work we are doing across Slalom’s Salesforce practice.  
  • Strategize in global partnerships with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), translate disparate types of content and perspectives into a unified message that is easy to understand both internally and externally (to our clients, prospective clients, and partner contacts at Salesforce). This requires listening and an understanding of what message will resonate with the target audience.  
  • Finalize whitepapers, PowerPoint decks, and other content drafted by SMEs, with Marketing support when needed.  
  • Be responsible for the SharePoint site that houses our curated content and ensure it is accurate, up to date, and user-friendly.   
  • Manage the process of ensuring content with our credentials (client logos, practice stats, etc.) are updated on a regular schedule.  
  • Act as the Program Manager for initiatives that require multiple contributors, deliverables, and adherence to deadlines. 

Qualifications: 

  • 6-7 years experience in a technology-related organization or department, ideally SaaS (Software as a Service) or PaaS (Platform as a Service). Marketing education and/or experience a plus. 
  • Experience in the technology space, specifically Salesforce (or other cloud platforms) is a plus. 
  • Experience with Salesforce and Pardot a plus. 
  • Strong PowerPoint skills. 
  • Excellent listening, writing, and editing skills. 
  • Incredible organizational skills and experience with project management. 
  • A passion for learning about and understanding user needs and designing solutions – in this case, content organization and development – that meet those needs. 
  • A design sensibility to envision how content will be presented or distributed in various formats. 
  • Experience partnering with Marketing teams to plan, deliver and execute go-to-market programs. 
  • Able to travel 10% for meetings with internal stakeholders and partners, as well as global and regional events (post-COVID restrictions).
