Under general supervision, the Senior Content Marketing Associate facilitates the build-out and maintenance of content management and sales enablement platforms, as well as helps implement projects and initiatives related to the Marketing department and firm. The Senior Content Marketing Associate will also assist the Social Media and Content Marketing team in overseeing processes and procedures as it relates to the platforms and content management, developing methods to improve content marketing efficiencies and practices as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with the build-out of content marketing and sales enablement platforms, maintaining relationships with third-party vendors to ensure that applications meet the department and firm’s needs now and in the future.
  • Become content and platform expert, providing training and ongoing assistance to Stifel associates on best practices, locating materials, and articulating value.
  • Build training materials as necessary for successful use and adoption of platforms.
  • Investigate identified bugs, errors, and issues in various platforms as they arise and works with vendors to find solutions as needed.
  • Oversee, upload, and maintain all content within platforms to ensure content is up-to-date and approved. Implement consistent content structure, tags, and organization.
  • Coordinate with marketing, design, and writing teams to ensure the timely delivery of assignments.
  • Identify trends and strategic initiatives; work with department leaders, writers, and designers to create and distribute content that communicates timely information and is in line with brand standards and company objectives.
  • Run periodic usage and analytics reports to provide aggregated data to users and department management. Use analytics to identify which materials should continue to be utilized and which should be retired.

Qualifications

  • General knowledge of marketing, content strategy, social media, and awareness of marketing limitations in a highly-regulated industry.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of the firm.
  • Prior marketing, content management, financial services, or social media experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communicator, creative thinker, strong organizational ability and attention to detail.

Education and Experience

  • Minimum Required: B.S. or B.A. in Marketing, Communications, or related field required.
  • Minimum Required: 1+ years related experience

Systems and Technology

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • CMS, Seismic, Broadridge, HTML, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, or SEO experience a plus
