We are seeking a talented Senior Content Marketing Manager to oversee the development and execution of a comprehensive content strategy that builds on Synack’s brand as the premier crowdsourced platform for on-demand security expertise. This role is about much more than writing technical papers and marketing reports. You should be an exceptional storyteller, sharp and fast writer and have the know-how to translate the most technical cybersecurity analysis into engaging and approachable content for a variety of audiences. We are looking for someone who has the vision and experience to deliver content that resonates with cybersecurity practitioners and executives, drive the infosec conversation and build an engaged audience across a variety of platforms and mediums. Here's what you'll do

  • Own the content marketing calendar and develop a regular publishing schedule on the Synack blog and other content channels
  • Work across the entire marketing team to execute content campaigns that drive leads, increase audience engagement, enable sales and build customer loyalty
  • Assign and edit articles from a network of freelance writers, internal contributors and other technical experts
  • Work with executives to develop thought leadership content for blogs, articles and events
  • Collaborate with the Social Media Specialist to develop content to increase engagement on Twitter, Instagram and other social media platforms
  • Work on new content channels such as regular newsletters and podcasts
  • Stay current on cybersecurity news and trends and be ready to write articles and blogs on topics that matter to Synack customers and prospects
  • Ensure Synack’s messaging and brand voice remains consistent across all content
  • Work collaboratively with Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Marketing Operations and other teams to create innovative and compelling content
  • Jump in on a variety of different writing and editing projects as needed

Here's what you'll need

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of experience developing content strategies
  • Experience managing writers and a proven track record of developing content that drives traffic 
  • Attention to details and deadlines
  • Deep knowledge of cybersecurity solutions, companies, challenges and developments
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills 
  • Ability to operate and excel at strategic as well as tactical levels.
  • Willingness to roll up sleeves to get the job done.
  • Passion to experiment and generate new ideas on delivering content
