As a part of the Digital Marketing team, you will contribute to the success of our content-rich web properties and online marketing programs, including natural search, content marketing, and conversion optimization. The content strategist possesses a point of view about content strategy and is able to communicate it to team members, acting as an advocate for a flawless content experience.

The content strategist is a unique blend of analytical and creative who uses these skills when problem solving in service to creating content and exceeding stated objectives, without losing focus on the qualitative elegance of the digital branded experience.

Duties:

  • Perform content analyses on existing pages and formulate recommendations for improvement.
  • Define messaging, content and priorities for campaign work.
  • Apply and maintain consistency with content standards, as well as define new standards.
  • Map current content into designs and identify content gaps.
  • Write clear, concise and useful copy.
  • Review analytics to find opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage editorial workflow for new and existing pages.
  • Create and maintain editorial calendar for upcoming site content.
  • Advocate for the user by talking with our research team to understand customer needs and creating content that meets those needs, ensuring our messages speak their language.
  • Collaborate with designers and product managers, to find creative solutions to communication and content needs.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of developing digital content for social, enterprise sites or publications.
  • Experience working with a content management system, preferably Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
  • Understanding of content strategy methodologies including, but not limited to: content analysis & recommendations, writing & editing page-level copy, editorial process, taxonomy, CMS tagging and SEO.
  • Experience with enterprise-level analytics.
  • Experience with editorial planning and content governance.
  • Experience in financial services and B2B content-led brands is preferred.
  • Experience working with remote teams in international and multicultural settings.

Education

  • A Master’s Degree or equivalent in English, Journalism, Communications, Design, or related field is preferred
