The Motley Fool is firmly committed to diversity, inclusion, and equity. We are a motley group of overachievers that have built a culture of trust founded on Foolishness, fun, and a commitment to making the world smarter, happier and richer. What does this team do?
We launched The Ascent within The Motley Fool to rate and review critical financial products like credit cards, mortgages, brokers, banking accounts, insurances, personal loans, and more. There’s some good (and a lot of bad) advice out there, and we’re cutting through the noise that often leaves people feeling helpless and insecure about these key financial decisions. From the tools we build, to our thorough and impartial reviews, to our overall design, we’ll highlight what matters - and save our reader’s time.
The Ascent has a large, and growing, content library to maintain and the products highlighted on site are always evolving. The compliance team navigates this environment to ensure products we review are accurate sitewide.
What would you do in this role?
The compliance strategist will work with the content director for The Ascent on the effective implementation and administration of the brands’ compliance program. This position also collaborates closely with The Ascent team spanning content and editorial, legal, paid media, and tech.
You would be proactively mitigating compliance risks through automated and manual content reviews and working with affiliate partners on product updates and launches to ensure content is always up-to-date and meets regulatory requirements.
