Content Marketing Manager, Pharma Analytics

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Market Development, the successful candidate will act as the technical voice of the business, driving the content strategy and developing content for customer-facing channels, as well as internal content for sales enablement. Working closely with Global Market Development, Product Management, and Applications Development, they will be responsible for crafting compelling technical marketing content across the buyers’ journey, including but not limited to, customer presentations, application/technical notes, web content, and webinars. This individual will demonstrate a thorough understanding of the Bioproduction workflow with a focus on Pharma Analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build the marketing content strategy and roadmap by identifying existing or new, and always compelling, technical content to drive lead generation and conversion
• Perform market research, gap analyses, and competitor research to identify content opportunities and threats and develop strategies to leverage or mitigate each respectively
• Partner closely with R&D and Product Management to support new product introductions
• Meet customers’ educational needs through digital and sales enablement content
• Help develop impactful customer journeys and align appropriate content to each stage of the funnel
• Ensure all marketing communications are current and messaging accurately reflects our value proposition and product brands
• Ensure all content is optimized for digital channels, specifically search
• Generate technical content for key events, and present technical presentations or posters if needed
• Work with analytics, digital, and demand generation teams to develop and report on content performance and optimization

Qualifications and Requirements

• BS degree in a scientific field with a good understanding of protein and/or molecular biology
• 4+ years experience in the life science or bioprocess industry; 2+ years of content/marketing experience preferred; experience with SEO methodologies a plus
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills with an emphasis on advanced writing and editing capabilities
• Excellent project management skills, with the proven ability to gain consensus, influence organizational behavior, and drive decision-making processes in a matrix-managed organization
• Highly motivated; able to prioritize and follow through in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment

• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time

The base salary range estimated for this position in the USA is $80,000 - $130,000. This position will also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. Actual compensation will be confirmed in writing at the time of the offer.
