Content Designer & Product Writer role is part of the Content Design & Product Writing (CD&PW) team, responsible for creating clear, consistent, and engaging content that enhances user experiences across all TikTok products. As part of this team, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with various cross-functional teams and contribute to the mission of inspiring creativity and joy.

• Join a dynamic team of content designers and technical writers across different regions.
• Contribute to impactful features around digital wellbeing, accessibility, and teen safety.
• Use design thinking, empathy, and data to shape and refine product experiences.

Responsibilities

• Write and edit high-quality UI copy consistent with the TikTok brand.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver content experiences aligned with product goals.
• Create content strategies and initiatives to set strategic direction for product areas.
• Work closely with various teams to deliver high-quality content deliverables.
• Synthesize feedback to drive consensus across global stakeholders.
• Drive process improvements within the team and assigned product areas.
• Critique visual style and interaction flow to advocate for the best user experience.
• Lead and participate in quarterly OKRs to drive product and organizational goals.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• 3+ years experience in content design for consumer-facing products.
• Entrepreneurial attitude and ability to manage rapid changes.
• Strong portfolio showcasing UI copy and other writing samples.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Trust & Safety, Privacy, or related areas.
• Work experience on global products with teams in different time zones.
• Experience using Figma and interest in social app products.
• Strong interest in user behavior and experience testing.

Compensation Description

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $115,000 - $165,000 annually. Compensation may vary based on qualifications, skills, and location.
