Content Strategist - Europe
As a Content Strategist, you will lead and oversee the content strategy for our brand, ensuring alignment with business goals while deeply resonating with our target audience. Your primary focus will be on creating research-driven, culturally relevant, and performance-optimized content that drives conversions across our online store and marketing platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure all content reflects the unique cultural nuances, beauty standards, and preferences of local markets, particularly in the European region.
This role demands a strategic mindset, a passion for understanding audience behavior, and the ability to mentor a team, including guiding the India-based Content Team. You will also play a key role in recruiting talent and ensuring content meets the highest standards of quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research to understand regional needs, cultural nuances, and audience preferences of each geography
- Translate research insights into data-driven campaigns that address audience pain points and resonate with local audiences.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy tailored to the preferences and needs of the European markets.
- Produce direct-response content optimized for ads, landing pages, and product pages.
- Guide a team of content creators, copywriters, and translators to deliver high-quality, engaging, and culturally relevant content.
- Monitor trends and content performance to refine strategies for improved conversions.
- Analyze content performance metrics and adjust strategies to improve engagement and conversion rates.
Qualifications
- 7-10 years of proven experience in marketing, with a focus on the European market and D2C space.
- Deep understanding of cultural nuances, beauty standards, and audience behavior in target markets.
- Expertise in conducting and applying research insights to content strategies.
- Strong leadership skills with the capability to guide and inspire cross-functional, geographically diverse teams.
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills with geographically diverse teams.
- Proficiency in one of the following languages—German, French, Spanish, or Italian—along with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Adaptability to fast-paced and collaborative environments.
- Results-oriented mindset with an analytical approach to optimizing content.
- Experience in the consumer goods industry, ideally within the beauty and personal care sectors (preferred).
