What you’ll do

As Senior Content Marketing Specialist, you will own content creation inside of our rapidly growing health insurance business. You will be responsible for creating a wide range of compelling content that aligns with the company’s overall strategic plan and the needs of our target customer. You will also play a key role in the growth and ongoing content strategy for our owned and operated brands as well as our strategic partners. You will collaborate with team members across all of our functional areas (Creative, SEO, Paid Media, Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), and Operations) to ensure our content effectively achieves our business objectives. 

A day in the life 

During your day-to-day, you’ll be an integral part of the Content team with a large focus on:

  • Working closely with the Internal and External Marketing teams to develop content in support of the growth strategy
  • Outlining, researching and composing a variety of engaging content with clear and quantifiable calls to action for all channels, including website content, blogs, infographics, webinars, articles, TV scripts, emails, and more
  • Ideation and proposal of new campaign concepts to cut through the clutter of a highly saturated market
  • Ensuring content is in the correct voice and optimized for full reach potential
  • Staying up to date on new and existing content tools and trends
  • Mentoring and training content specialists as needed

What you’ll need to land the gig

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in content, marketing, or a similar field
  • Ability to see the big picture while ensuring attention to detail
  • Understanding of content marketing, user journeys, and how personas affect messaging
  • Metrics-driven approach & ability to understand and drive toward content performance indicators
  • Basic understanding of content management systems and project management tools; i.e. WordPress, Umbraco or similar platform and Jira, Asana, Trello, or similar platform
