Job description

Are you looking to tackle big challenges that drive even bigger impact? Are you energized by the possibilities when technology, data, and healthcare intersect? Do you love creating content that engages customers at every point of engagement?

Truveta’s vision is Saving Lives with Data. Our mission is to enable researchers to find cures faster, empower every clinician to be an expert, and help families make the most informed decisions about their care. We are led by our values.

The Truveta Marketing Team is looking for a seasoned and creative Content Director to build and execute a content strategy that attracts, nurtures, and converts customers, while also creating content across multiple formats.

Who We Need

Truveta is rapidly building a talented and diverse team to tackle complex health and technical challenges. Beyond core capabilities, we are seeking problem solvers, passionate and collaborative teammates, and those willing to roll up their sleeves while making a difference.

If you are interested in the opportunity to pursue purposeful work, join a mission-driven, highly dynamic team, and build a rewarding career while having fun, Truveta may be the perfect fit for you.

The Content Director will focus on content marketing and building thought leadership, whitepapers, one-pagers, e-books, blog, web content and other materials that create brand awareness and drive demand with health systems, life sciences, and other target audiences. You’ll partner with marketing, product, research and sales teams to generate topics and build your content.

The best person for this role understands both healthcare and technology industries, has a proven track record in creating content that clearly communicates topics, engages both business and technical audiences, and can help build our brand while engaging potential customers. This person has a bold passion for storytelling and copywriting, and can also effectively build and operationalize a multi-channel content strategy that results in exponential growth.

Responsibilities Will Include

  • Help define Truveta’s content strategy and editorial calendar
  • Produce best-practice top-of-funnel and mid-funnel assets that help build the Truveta brand while generating pipeline
  • Bring a consistent voice to all Truveta content that avoids jargon, communicates complex concepts in a simple manner, and creates urgency to act
  • Contribute to the development of a content team infrastructure (process and templates) that will allow us to scale
  • Help build the Truveta leadership position in health tech innovation
  • Turn data-driven insights into short, medium and long form pieces
  • Develop various content types for Truveta products and services, connecting with distinct audiences
  • Develop expertise on how to best create and use content to reach and motivate buyer and user personas to inform company and product strategy
  • Create compelling content for marketing campaigns, sales, and industry events that differentiates our products in the market
  • Use performance data and insights (leads generated, engagement, etc) to optimize content strategy
  • Generate ideas and create blogs that are interesting for amplification on social media or pitching to press
  • Willingness to commit to ongoing training on key topics like privacy, ethics, and security

Key Qualifications

  • 7-10 years experience in the content marketing discipline, with a background in health and technology, ideally focused on subscription services with recurring revenue.
  • 5-10 years of SaaS Marketing experience
  • Depth experience in creating world-class content, mapped to the customer lifecycle
  • Ability to influence and be a team player that rolls up your sleeves
  • Must embrace and respect the critical nature of protecting the Truveta brand
  • Strong writer, creative thinker and nimble executor
  • Great collaborator and ability to adopt new technologies quickly
  • Be prepared to share examples of your work, along with a resume.
