Job description

UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) is seeking a client-focused, highly collaborative, and experienced individual to join our UKG Global Services Relationship Management Organization. As the Principal Content Strategist, you are embedded within the HCM community, UKG Product and Customer Marketing teams and will use your expert-curated content strategy knowledge and gift for language to design intuitive, delightful thought-leadership and next generation forward-thinking industry insights, coupled with, UGKs culture to empower the Relationship Management Team to deliver a uniquely-UKG customer experience. You will be a critical player enabling the ERMs/CRCs to deliver on UKGs promise of Partner for Life.

The primary driver for this role is to enable the Relationship Management Organization to deliver UKGs Partner for Life commitment (measured through content usage, effectiveness, and adoption). As the Principal Content Strategist (PCS), you will curate product release content, UKGs Our Purpose is People culture content, and strategies to empower the Relationship Management Team (ERMs/CRCs) to tell UKGs story, build the ERMs/CRCs skills and knowledge as well as enable them to message how we stand apart in the HCM marketplace. The UKG Relationship Management Team delivers a differentiated experience by serving as a trusted advisor to our customers by maximizing the value of our software, services and UKG network. As a PCS, you will do this by understanding the HCM marketplace, being forward-thinking, analyzing industry trends and themes to enable the ERMs/CRCs with the knowledge and insights to help their customers stay informed, and develop people and product strategies to help their customers achieve their strategic business goals.

Your role is not a technical one, however, the ability to create, write, message and curate high-level HCM technical concepts with nontechnical stakeholders is critical. To be successful in this role, the Principal Content Strategist will interact and collaborate with multiple internal teams including Customer Marketing, Sales, Executive Relationship Management, Product Development, Solution Engineering, and other Global Services Teams including Professional Services, Payment Services, Integration Services and Customer Support.

Essential Duties:

  • Implement content strategy methodologies to help plan for the creation, and delivery of UKGs Partner for Life messaging, and governance of UKGs brand strategies.
  • Research industry analysis, and translates insights into clear, consistent, concise customer-facing content for ERMs and CRCs.
  • Lead content team workshops to shape future customer deliverables that delight our customers and bring clarity to a complex HCM industry.
  • Lead internal fireside chats with the UKG leadership team, guest speakers and customers to provide real-world just-in-time knowledge share to empower the ERMs/CRCs with best practices and industry insights to deliver back to their customers.
  • Collaborate with research, HCM industry experts, CX teams, visual designers, UKGs EPIC and Customer Marketing teams to deliver a compelling UKG story in an easily relatable format.
  • Develop content processes to support a cohesive content ecosystem.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, succinctly present, and rationalize content deliverables to partners.
  • Use data and research to evaluate content’s impact.
  • Help define clear and repeatable processes so the organization better understands how to work with the COE team.
  • Use logic, hard data, and empathy to inform content choices that balance the needs of the customer and UKGs business strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience and 10+ years of related industry experience.
  • Excellent communication skills (English - both written and verbal) and strong business and financial acumen are required to deliver best-in-class HCM industry content that can be delivered by ERM/CRC to our customers.
  • Content auditing/analyzing existing content and content ecosystems.
  • Strong Relationship Building Skills; Ability to build trusted relationships across UKG internal teams and multiple HCM industry experts - including VPs, Directors, and other key decision-makers.
  • Strong decision-making skills; Ability to coordinate efforts across various functional teams and engage the appropriate resources to create, curate and deliver content in a meaningful way.
  • Strong discovery and listening skills; Demonstrated ability to analyze, research, and understand UKGs story, UKGs Purpose is People strategies, UGKs customer’s business goals/priorities and anticipate future HCM business strategies.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills and initiative to solve complex problems.
  • Possesses strong personal accountability/high expectations in both individual and team environments.
  • HCM Industry Experience is strongly preferred.

Colorado, New York, Washington, and California Pay Law

The pay range for this position in Colorado, New York, Washington and California is $135,200 to $194,440, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation. San Francisco Bay Area Pay Law

There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area, the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $155,480 to $223,560 per year.
