Purpose of Activity/Assignment:
Outdated content on our websites can confuse and mislead the site visitor and undermine the public’s trust in UNICEF as the leading organization for children. Some older content can rank higher in search engine results than up-to-date information, taking away the site traffic from newer and more relevant content. A high volume of outdated information also makes it more difficult to find content that is fresh and relevant. In addition to averting reputation risks, archiving or deleting outdated content helps our platform and websites to be cost-effective and optimally functional
