Job description

We are looking for a creative and motivated individual to become part of our team!

The Marketing Content Coordinator, in conjunction with our Brand Marketing Manager and Sales team, will create and manage our brand’s product catalog content. This includes, but is not limited to, adding new product content to retail website accounts, managing and improving existing content while keeping up to date with individual retailers’ standards. Research content and writing, editing, and publishing marketing content pieces.

You will be expected to troubleshoot and problem solve when warranted. You will be expected to acquire and maintain knowledge of product base. You must be a self-motivated individual who is able to work with little, or no, supervision. Additionally, you will need to be able to work well with a team and communicate effectively between departments.

The Optimal Leigh Country Candidate For This Position Will

  • Have both a strong creative point of view and an understanding of brand marketing objectives in the digital environment
  • Manage and update catalog data used for internal and third-party tools
  • Audit and correct branded content across the internet, including but not limited to inaccurate product details and branded assets.
  • Work diplomatically and effectively across cross-functional teams
  • Possess a willingness to learn and the ability to grasp new concepts quickly and efficiently
  • Be a resourceful and self-motivated individual who can work on their own, but within a team
  • Knowledge of the digital landscape and keyword search engine optimization
  • Be able to write, produce, manage, and execute projects from start to finish

Required Qualifications

  • At least two (2) or more years of experience in creative and/or brand development content
  • Proficiency with computers and data entry experience
  • Intermediate level of experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Organizational aptitude
  • The ability to effectively prioritize time and numerous tasks while meeting required deadlines
  • Conscientious attention to details and accuracy
  • Proactive ability to follow up, troubleshoot, and problem solve issues
  • Experience with image and video file formats
  • Positive and professional attitude
  • Experience in writing web copy
  • Attendance is an essential function of this position

Salary is negotiable - Quarterly bonuses, PTO, and insurance stipend after a 90-day evaluation period.

Must be able to pass a background check. Employment history will be verified.
