Please attach a cover letter on the first page of your resume. It should address your specific interest in the position and outline your skills and related experience.

The Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR) is part of the Institute for Social Research at the University of Michigan. The consortium maintains the world's largest archive of social science data with 10,000+ studies relating to education, aging, criminal justice, substance abuse, terrorism, and more. A global leader in data science, we also support continuing education in research design, statistics, and data analysis.

We are embarking on a 5-year project to build a next-generation platform for delivering digital social science artifacts to a global research community, and we need a Senior Technical Writer to join our team. You will oversee the creation, curation, and organization of text and illustrations that document our systems and processes for team members, including developers, operations engineers, designers, and our support team. You will also perform similar tasks on public-facing documentation for the products and services we provide our users. If you love writing, editing, and organizing technical documentation, and then making it accessible to the right audience, we want to talk to you!

You will report to the Computing & Networking Services Associate Director.
