The Marketing and Digital Content Manager is responsible for managing all marketing, advertising, and promotional initiatives of the Arnold School of Public Health (ASPH). This position supports marketing and external communications efforts through oversight of media and print materials design; strategic direction of marketing campaigns; and compliance with accessibility guidelines. Reporting to the Director of Information Services, this position serves as a key member of the school communications team in implementing strategic initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree and 2 or more years of experience related to the development and dissemination of informational material, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of certification, training, education, and/or experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prefer communications experience within an institution of higher education.


  • Ability to collaborate with high accountability and work across a diverse constituent base.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge and skills in areas of marketing and creative development, including photography, video, and layout design.
  • Ability to determine marketing return on investment and evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Ability to coordinate the production of creative assets used to support marketing initiatives.
  • Ability to plan and achieve strategic marketing objectives.
  • Ability to understand SC and USC procurement policies.
  • Knowledge and skills with web content management systems.
  • Ability to work independently as well as on a team.
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to anticipate and adapt to changing needs within the (ASPH).
