Vida’s business-to-business (B2B) Marketing team is looking for an experienced content marketing specialist to help tell Vida’s story. Key responsibilities include generating clinical content that communicates the structure, value, and clinical outcomes of Vida’s virtual health care programs for employers, health plans, and channel partners.

The ideal candidate will have a strong talent for writing about scientific/clinical subjects in ways that resonate with audiences of varying backgrounds — less technical audiences and more scientifically discerning audiences alike. This content should be engaging and creative while still rooted in strong scientific research principles. They will be comfortable quickly creating B2B marketing copy and content to feed the sales funnel.

Experience marketing technology products to enterprises-- especially employers, health plans, benefits consultants, and healthcare benefit distribution partners-- will be especially helpful. Experience in the healthcare industry or employee benefits space is helpful but not required.

Location: Remote anywhere in the U.S., with in-person optional in Vida’s San Francisco office.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create a high volume of high-quality sales and marketing content
  • Assist in creating and communicating a calendar of planned content
  • Project-manage across creative teams to ensure timely delivery
  • Monitor, report on, and optimize engagement levels with different types of content to increase the number and quality of leads they generate 
  • Develop a deep understanding and empathy for enterprise customers (employers, health plans, benefits consultants, and distribution partners), including personas and best channels to reach them. Health plans personas and their needs are especially important to this role
  • Develop a deep understanding of Vida’s clinical outcomes, what clinical outcomes matter most, and how to highlight them to B2B buyers
  • Create and curate content, from conceptualizing and outlining pieces, to copywriting, project-managing design, and ensuring business partners can find final content:
  • Collateral: Business case studies, Briefs summarizing peer-reviewed research papers, Whitepapers, Blog posts including thought leadership-style pieces on health and healthcare topics, One-pagers program overviews
  • Slides: case study and thought leadership speaker decks for webinars and events, slide summaries of case studies, deep dives
  • Website: Outline, write copy, and guide design for webpages
  • Email copy as needed
  • Ad copy to accompany collateral

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3 - 7 years experience in writing copy for and creating a broad set of content types for B2B demand generation / lead generation, preferably in healthcare or technology
  • A high level of comfort in expressing a bold point of view with demonstrated ability in writing within a brand’s voice and tone as set in guidelines
  • Exceptional skills writing B2B copy and content, especially about scientific and clinical topics relevant to healthcare products and services
  • Strong sense of design and excellent ability to set a vision and collaborate with designers to create compelling collateral
  • Ability to effectively partner with Marketing, Design, Field Sales, Commercial Operations, and other key stakeholders
  • Execution-driven self-starter comfortable owning projects and functions in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Project management and internal communication skills, ability to rally teams toward a shared goal
  • Ability to analyze, report on, and communicate insights from content engagement data
  • A portfolio showcasing content you created that best demonstrates your ability to create the type of content needed for this role
  • Bachelors’ Degree 

BONUS SKILLS

  • Previous startup experience
  • Understanding of the healthcare industry and clinical outcomes
  • Understanding of the healthcare buyer market including employers, benefits consultants, health plans
  • Experience coordinating speakers to execute live presentations, webinars, and events
  • Creative and resourceful, able to come up with out-of-the-box ideas and bring them to life
  • Masters degree
