Visa Global Design is looking for a Senior Content Designer to join our team. The Senior Content Designer will help establish content strategy, contribute to scoping content projects, design content, perform UX writing, review content to boost consistency and quality, and publish content alongside team members and teams across Visa. Core to this role is collaborating with cross-functional members of our team such as designers, developers, product managers and other subject matter experts to create a clear language that is active, readable and human. The Senior Content Designer will operate as an individual contributor who reports to a Senior Content Design Manager. They will contribute to strengthening our content design presence at Visa by working across product teams to optimize product and user experiences, as well as drive revenue through improved content. The ideal candidate has formidable writing skills, abstract and critical thinking skills, and a nuanced understanding of design and product user experiences. This person must be a reliable, clear communicator who enjoys both working with established practices and forging new ones to co-create holistic B2B2C experiences.
Role responsibilities include
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both home and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from a Visa office approximately three days per week, including Mondays (Sunday in some countries where Sunday is the start of the week) and Wednesdays. Wednesdays are designated as in-office collaboration days. The third day in the office will be decided based on team needs and determined in partnership with senior leadership. We prefer candidates to work from one of our Design Research hubs—Austin, Bellevue, San Francisco, Foster City, or New York City.
