Senior Content Designer role:

WMG’s User Experience Team is looking for a Content Designer to improve the UX writing in our internal and external facing digital product experiences to help artists, songwriters, producers, A&R, marketing and finance users elevate and build long lasting music careers for Artists and Songwriters, pushing boundaries and finding new innovative ways to improve our business.

This role will report to the Manager of Content Design. Content Designers at WMG thrive in fast-paced environments and have a proven track record of simplifying the complex. In this role you will collaborate cross-functionally with designers, researchers, product managers and engineers to create content for intuitive, user-centered and innovative digital products and services. Your primary focus will be on shaping the user experience through clear, concise, and engaging copy, ensuring that our products are not only functional but also delightful to use. You will be responsible for crafting content that guides users, establishes brand consistency, and drives engagement.

  • Develop and implement content strategies that align with user needs, business goals, and brand voice.
  • Write clear and concise copy that enhances the overall user experience, including microcopy, error messages, labels, and tooltips.
  • Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and engineers to integrate content seamlessly into user interfaces.
  • Conduct user research and gather insights to inform content decisions, ensuring content meets user expectations.
  • Conduct usability testing and iterate on content based on user feedback and data-driven insights.
  • Maintain consistency in brand voice and tone across all digital touchpoints.
  • Create and maintain content style guides and documentation to ensure consistency and clarity.
  • Ensure that content meets accessibility standards and guidelines to provide an inclusive experience for all users.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in content design and user experience.

About you:

At least 5 years of proven experience as a Content Designer, UX Writer, Content Strategist or similar role with a strong portfolio showcasing your work

  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Proficiency in content management tools and UX design software
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and user research and testing methodologies
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate your decisions clearly
  • Proven track record of bringing a consumer sensibility to the experience for elegant and efficient business products that solve complex, data intensive problems
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices is a plus

Salary Range:

142,500 - 184,500

Salary ranges are included for job postings where required by law. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
