The position is a key member of the University Web & Design team and will be responsible for content creation, management and support for web and other media to support university communications. 

Required Qualifications

  • An undergraduate degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Prior work experience in web communications.
  • Experience writing, editing, and organizing content for websites and other print and electronic communications.
  • Mastery of high-quality, professional-level concept development, copywriting and editing.
  • Knowledge of and experience with office productivity tools.
  • Superior communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills, excellent time management skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects of varying size and complexity within a team-based work environment.
  • Exceptional customer service, presentation, facilitation, problem solving and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with¬†HTML.
  • Experience providing training and orientation to adult learners.
  • Experience working in a higher education environment.

Conditions of Employment:

There is an occasional need for work outside of typical business hours. Some projects and publications are tied to the academic calendar and university events and require work on evenings and weekends.

This is a non-exempt position, eligible to receive overtime in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act. This position may be subject to overtime during high peak times, etc. as directed and approved by the supervisor.
