Job description

Window Nation, one of the fastest-growing window replacement companies in the US is seeking a Content Marketing Manager to grow our customer base. This role is responsible for the creation of direct-response tactical and branding content across all marketing channels to drive traffic and leads to deliver sales and customer retention. Channels include but are not limited to public relations, TV & radio scripting, print, digital advertising, organic social, website copy and integrated marketing campaigns.

The ideal candidate will possess strong writing skills with a knack for telling stories and compelling action. This role will need the ability to think creatively, problem-solve, and adapt as business dictates. The ability to multitask with strong attention to detail and within tight deadlines is critical to success.

Primary Job Functions

  • Collaborates across functions and silos to deliver an effective content marketing strategy and editorial plan that meet business objectives at lowest possible costs (lead generation, ROAS, CPL, Net sales and other KPIs)
  • Ensure all content is accurate, proofread, and tested before being published or sent
  • Measure and report on content performance to support ongoing optimization and make recommendations on iterating and improving

Digital

  • Execute both paid and organic social content, ensuring that content is strategic and optimized to the respective objectives
  • Support SEO with PPC copywriting and CRO optimization for landing pages
  • Maintain SEO best practices, including title tags, metadata, keywords, image labels, keywords and internal linking
  • Lead all email campaign content creation including prospecting, nurture/drip, and customer retention
  • Manage freelancers and agency partners to support blog and website content needs; own and manage the editorial calendar

Creative

  • Participate in creative campaign ideation and execution
  • Work with Creative Manager to write TV and radio scripts
  • Assist with headline creation and ad copy

Public Relations

  • Develop public relations initiatives including press releases, non-profit support and advocacy campaigns
  • Support internal initiatives

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, in Marketing, Communications or Journalism preferred
  • Minimum 5-7 years in producing content, specifically for the web as well as channel-specific knowledge
  • Knowledgeable about a range of online and offline marketing tactics, including but not limited to print, direct response, social media, digital, collateral, production, events and tradeshow displays, and other marketing channels
  • Expert level of project management skills
  • Knowledge of technical tools such as Salesforce or similar CRM platforms, email marketing, social media software, Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills required. Should be able to interface with a range of cross-functional team members at all levels of the organization
  • Advertising, direct response and/or marketing agency experience is preferred
  • Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple assignments through completion simultaneously
  • Some experience with PR is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of WordPress or similar CMS as well as HTML/CSS is a plus
