Wintrust is looking to hire a talented content marketing strategist with financial services subject matter expertise to join our team! This candidate will work with Marketing leadership, the account team, and stakeholders to develop deep knowledge of banking subjects and audience needs to plan for and create expert, compelling content across all digital platforms.

What You’ll Do

  • Use data and consumer insights to plan and create effective short and long-form copy for a range of digital marketing assets including blogs, landing pages, email, social media, digital display, search, video, and more—then continue to use data to optimize, iterate, and improve.
  • Contribute to day-to-day Content team activities, actively participating in kickoff and brainstorming meetings, presenting creative to stakeholders, and reviewing reporting to ensure our campaigns are delivering results.
  • Collaborate with account managers, creative team, digital marketers, social media, web/digital analytics, and bankers to ensure all efforts drive strong customer discovery and engagement.
  • Keep current on audience-specific financial behavior and industry trends and marketing strategies by attending at least six webinars per year, subscribing to industry newsletters and social outlets, and presenting new information to the team at least four times a year during team meetings.
  • Help manage editorial calendars and Workfront tasks to ensure projects are completed on target and on time.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience and Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Proven content marketing and editorial work experience
  • Proven copywriting experience with short- and long-form content
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills
  • Good with stakeholders and great with handling and applying constructive feedback
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and Workfront
