The Yahoo for Business Marketing team is responsible for bringing our stories and solutions to market, driving awareness of Yahoo and our products, and enabling Sales with the tools to succeed and drive revenue. A Lot About You

The Manager, Content Strategy is responsible for creating digital content strategies that amplify our sales and brand marketing messages and support virtual and live events.  You will be managing cross-functional partners to execute internal and external email programs that improve awareness and adoption of our solutions by both our customers and sales teams. Using your mix of creative, strategy and technical skills, you’ll create and build HTML emails and leverage marketing automation tools to optimize overall campaign performance. 


  • Partner with sales and marketing partners to create campaign strategy and drive awareness to the specific advertiser and publisher customer segments.
  • Work closely with our sales teams to understand their internal communications needs, and ensure they are engaged with the latest company news, priorities and opportunities.
  • Build and execute a holistic content marketing strategy, inclusive of oversight of email design and copywriting, designed to drive revenue.
  • Create, execute, and optimize demand generation campaigns in Marketo. Collaborate closely with the marketing operations team on campaign targeting, set-up and execution.
  • Support live and virtual events through custom invites, website landing pages, and webinar management. 
  • Build and edit responsive HTML emails, landing pages, and forms, as well as management of content with Pathfactory. 
  • Mentor and grow a team of creative, strategic, and  innovative talent focused on business growth and revenue diversification and expansion 


  • 5-7 years of demonstrated success in executing growth marketing and demand generation programs within B2B organizations.
  • Management skills and experience, including leading a team, multiple internal contributors, executives, peers, partners, and programs simultaneously.
  • Extensive experience using Salesforce, Marketo, and Pathfactory.
  • Exceptional communication, creative development, and copywriting capabilities.
  • A data-driven mindset and the ability to strategize with cross-functional teams and build and execute marketing campaigns.
  • Exceptional ability to manage simultaneous email marketing campaign deliverables and timelines, and keep key stakeholders informed.
  • Initiative to test new technologies and continually improve.
  • Familiarity with marketing to the B2B audience, particularly with advertisers, agencies and publishers, as well as an understanding of the digital advertising industry and trends.
  • Experience driving engagement with sales organizations on communications initiatives. 
  • Experience with building responsive HTML emails and landing pages.
  • Knowledge of email best practices, A/B testing, HTML design principles and legalities.
