Alex Carson is a content designer with a background in theater and writing. Burnt out from decades working multiple jobs to support her art, she started looking for a new career that was creative, strategic, and challenging — and discovered UX. Her education in UX coincided with learning about complex PTSD (CPTSD). Everywhere she looked, Alex could see how digital experiences were causing harm — from exclusion to dishonesty to abuse. She works to create meaningful experiences that made all people feel seen, heard, and safe.
