Aisha Umar, is a United States Army Veteran. She began her military career in Fort Jackson, South Carolina, in May 2013 where she graduated from basic combat training and went on to attend Advanced Individual Training in Fort Lee North Carolina. She was then posted to Fort Bragg North Carolina, the home of the airborne as a member of the mission information team. Months after arriving at her first duty stationed she received orders to attend Advanced Airborne training to learn how to jump out of planes as part of the requirements of her new duty stationed.
Aisha went on to serve as a statistician/ cultural expert and a petroleum laboratory specialist in the United States Army for three years.
She is the holder of a certificate of achievements award, airborne qualification, combat lifesaver badge award and national service defense medal and an Army service ribbon.
