UX Writer

This is a fully onsite position in Seattle, WA. Hybrid and Remote are NOT an option.

Responsibilities:

• Write clear, concise UI text for various platforms (web, mobile, etc.)
• Collaborate with UX designers and researchers to develop user-centered content strategies.
• Maintain consistent voice and tone across all user touchpoints.
• Develop and maintain style guides and terminology glossaries.
• Conduct user research to understand user needs and preferences.
• Test and iterate on content based on user feedback.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a UX Writer or similar role with experience with devices such as Echo, TV)
• 5+ years of UX writing
• 3+years of UX writing from a devices background
• 5+ years with Localization (Character Count)
• 5+ years Informing Interaction design
• Strong portfolio demonstrating excellent writing and editing skills.
• Deep understanding of UX principles and user-centered design.
• Must have experience with MS word, Confluence, Google Docs, Quip and Figma.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $65.00 to $78.23 HR. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
