Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a wide range of technical documents, including user manuals, system guides, process documentation, and policy documents specific to the banking domain.
- Working with internal teams on product and document requirements.
- Create product documentation for a range of audience groups (system administrators, application developers, and users)
- Work closely with the writers to ensure clarity, completeness, accuracy, and compliance to organizational standards in documentation.
- Mentor junior writers to improve writing skills and educate them in writing practices.
- Review, Edit and Rework user documentation based on Client or Internal review comments.
- Ensure that all documentation adheres to regulatory compliance standards in the banking industry.
- Maintain version control of documents to track changes and updates.
- Provide support to end-users by creating user-friendly guides and FAQs to help them understand banking processes and systems.
- Manage and organize the documentation repository for easy access and retrieval.
- Help improve existing documentation processes, standards, frameworks, and templates.
Qualification/ Prerequisites:
- 4-5 years of experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.
- Commercial online banking applications knowledge will be a plus. (UOB, Q2, BT)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word.
- Excellent understanding of the English grammar, style, and writing standards
- Conversant with technology and happy working with technology
- Ability to understand software products and their application to business processes.
- Strong interpersonal skills, good team player, self-motivated and flexible
- Ability to work independently with set deadlines and keep multiple projects on track at the same time.
