Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Sr. Technical Writer / Technical Writer for a remote opportunity. This role will support documentation efforts in the aerospace and/or healthcare domain. The ideal candidate brings strong language skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work cross-functionally with global teams. You'll be instrumental in maintaining and creating user-friendly, accurate, and standardized support documentation, ensuring it meets stakeholder and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and proofread existing documentation (Knowledge Base articles, SOPs, process documents) for clarity, accuracy, and grammatical correctness.
- Collaborate closely with Product Teams and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather documentation needs.
- Create and maintain high-quality, structured documentation using predefined templates.
- Ensure documentation meets regulatory and domain-specific standards (particularly relevant in aerospace/healthcare).
- Maintain content within ServiceNow, ensuring all documents are up to date and accessible.
- Ask the right questions to ensure comprehensive and goal-driven documentation.
- Work independently and proactively in a remote setup aligned with US working hours.
Basic Requirements
- Exceptional English writing and grammar skills.
- Prior experience editing and creating technical documentation (KBs, SOPs, user guides).
- Proven ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse user groups.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience working in ServiceNow or similar platforms (preferred).
- Prior exposure to aerospace and/or healthcare domain documentation is a plus.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely during US time zones.
