Join us for Portfolio Development Workshop, an engaging and collaborative event dedicated to enhancing and refining your professional portfolio. This free workshop offers an opportunity for our community members to engage in meaningful, two-hour peer-review sessions, inviting you to engage with fellow community members in a supportive and enriching environment.
Meet our hosts
Charlie Petera, an active member of our community, will take the lead in hosting and guiding the workshop. Charlie has spent nearly 4 years as a content designer supporting digital experiences for small businesses and Fortune 500 companies alike. She is currently based out of Ohio, USA and is probably covered in cat hair as you read this.
Your participation makes the difference
With Charlie's guidance, you'll be paired with a fellow attendee to review each other's portfolios, providing and receiving valuable feedback to refine and improve your work.

When, where and how to attend
The event will take place on December 7th, 2023. It kicks off at 10am PST, 1pm EST, 6pm GMT, 7pm CET (check your time zone), and will last for two hours.
We're hosting this event on Zoom, the link to join will be sent to your email address closer to the date.
Event format and structure
Intro and overview
The workshop will kick off with an introduction and overview. This initial segment sets the stage for the day, introducing the workshop's objectives and the process for the portfolio reviews. It's a chance to get acquainted and prepare for a session of collaborative learning and constructive feedback.
Portfolio pairing and review
Attendees will be paired up for the portfolio review segment. Participants will have the opportunity to spend approximately 45 minutes each, reviewing a fellow attendee's portfolio. This is followed by a switch, allowing each attendee to receive feedback on their own portfolio. This part of the workshop will be approximately 90 minutes long in total.
Group reflection and discussion
The workshop will conclude with a group reflection and discussion, led by Charlie. This part of the session is a chance to share experiences, discuss key learnings, and explore how to apply the feedback received. It's an invaluable opportunity for collective learning and drawing insights from the diverse experiences of all participants.
