UX Content Strategist

Our Fortune 500 financial services client is seeking a UX Content Strategist to join their team!

The Basics

Offering 40 hours per week1 year duration with possibility to extendHYBRID (3-4x onsite per week) in Austin, TX

Overview

This role involves collaborating with account managers, project managers, art directors, copywriters, and developers to create user-friendly content across various platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in content strategy, a deep understanding of UX principles, and a passion for enhancing user engagement and satisfaction.

Top 3 Skills Required

• Content Strategy Expertise: Minimum 5 years of experience in digital content strategy, with previous roles as a content strategist.
• Collaboration: Proven ability to work smoothly with internal teams and other groups to gather data and ensure project feasibility.
• Presentation Skills: Capable of presenting effective, compelling narratives to decision makers.

Other Qualifications

• BS/BA in communications, content strategy, journalism, digital media, or related field.
• Experience with design systems and content management systems (CMS).
• Understanding of SEO, accessibility requirements, and UX best practices.
• Familiarity with Confluence, Figma, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Preferred expertise in financial institutions or highly regulated industries.

Responsibilities

• Conduct content audits, email campaigns, competitive analysis, journey mapping, and website redesigns.
• Collaborate with team members to craft user-friendly content.
• Work within the digital framework lifecycle: discovery, define, concept, design, and development.
• Embrace creative constraints and find solutions in a regulated marketing environment.

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data, including financial information. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
