Develop and maintain clear, compelling, and user-centered content for digital interfaces, including websites, apps, and other platforms.
Collaborate with UX designers and product teams to understand user needs, define content requirements, and ensure consistency across all touchpoints.
Conduct user research and analyze user feedback to refine and optimize content strategies and improve overall user experience.
Create and maintain content style guides, voice and tone guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency in all written materials.
Write microcopy, including button labels, error messages, tooltips, and onboarding instructions, that enhances usability and drives user engagement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content aligns with design and technical specifications.
Review and edit content produced by other team members to ensure clarity, accuracy, and adherence to established guidelines.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continually enhance the quality of UX writing.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Proven experience as a UX Writer, Content Strategist, or similar role, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to create user-centered content.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
Experience working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams.
Strong understanding of UX principles and best practices, with the ability to apply them to content creation.
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), design tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma), and basic HTML/CSS is a plus.
Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, user-friendly language.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
