Reporting to our Assistant Marketing Director – Brand, Content & Social, this candidate will help enhance the firm’s brand and enable EY Canada to shape the dialogue on the toughest issues our clients, communities and people are facing. The candidate will create relevant and influential content to enhance brand awareness and impact with core thought leadership programs. Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning, managing and executing foundational brand programs to support the firm’s visibility in the part, in alignment with national and global priorities and initiatives
  • Developing and implementing an overarching content strategy that aligns to our firm’s business goals and connects the dots between our internal and external audiences, identifies clear objectives for all content and includes clear, measurable KPIs
  • Owning content lifecycle management from ideation, creation and editing through to approvals, distribution, measurement and maintenance, collaborating closely with other members of the larger EY Canada Brand, Marketing and Communications team
  • Delivering engaging customer-centric content that educates and converts audiences into advocates, including regularly seeking out the voice of the customer, incorporating feedback and generating ideas to increase audience engagement
  • Proactively teaming with Global and Americas counterparts to understand and identify Canadian-relevant brand programs and content that can be leveraged for the local market
  • Conducting regular content audits, maintain a central content repository, proactively identifying gaps and priorities in content execution
  • Working collaboratively with the Social Media Lead to implement paid and unpaid digital and social media strategies to deliver best-in-class, relevant content to highly targeted audiences, in addition to managing keyword optimization, content tagging and website metadata

Skills and Attributes for Success:

  • A strategic and growth mindset focused on initiating new ideas to elevate the EY brand with proven experience of putting ideas into action
  • Ability to create, package and distribute thought leadership content in various formats across channels, using best practices, new strategies and actionable insights that have measurable impact on enhancing brand perceptions and driving funnel growth
  • Understanding of digital and social media best practices and platforms Using A/B testing and advanced analytics to develop proprietary datasets that underpin predictive insights in our content, and data-based targets and metrics to optimize audience reach and impact
  • Defining content priorities and resource allocation, in addition to developing, managing and socializing an editorial calendar for content assets deployed across a matrix of campaigns, topics and themes
  • At ease managing multiple projects in a deadline-driven, fast-paced and highly matrixed environment
  • Excellent project management skills and stakeholder management capabilities with the ability to collaborate across internal teams and firm leaders to develop and activate content
  • Ensuring high-quality writing for all EY content, including adhering to style guidelines and enabling a consistent brand voice, while bringing forward new and innovative ideas

To Qualify for:

  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Brand Marketing or Content Marketing.
  • 5+ years of experience working in creating high-quality content and strong familiarity with video content creation, blogs, social media content, case studies, infographics, reports and more.
  • Strong experience and comfortability working in a complex, yet dynamic work environment with the ability to multitask on a variety of different projects with competing deadlines
  • Experience creating content for digital and social channels and understanding of how content marketing fits into the larger marketing and firm ecosystem
  • Maintains a good working knowledge of principles of SEO, including keyword research and Google Analytics, and is highly knowledgeable in the principles of social media
  • Excellent writing, editing and content packaging skills suitable for a market audience
  • Organized and articulate, with impeccable attention to detail and hunger to contribute
  • Equal parts strategic and tactical with a challenger mindset and a passion for overcoming the status quo
