At The Planet Group, we are looking for a Web Content Producer to join the People site team on a contract basis with Apple. This is a 1-year position requiring 40 hours per week and includes healthcare benefits.
The role involves overseeing content development and updates for an internal global website, with a focus on creating and managing high volume of content updates as well as developing content for new initiatives.
Key qualifications for this role include many years of experience in editing and online content production, clear and compelling copywriting skills, strong project management abilities, exceptional attention to detail, proven experience with a CMS, intermediate knowledge of HTML, excellent communication and presentation skills, the ability to drive tasks working with cross-functional teams, and experience with HR and global projects is preferred.
As a Web Content Producer, you will be responsible for rethinking, restructuring, editing, and rewriting webpages for clarity and optimal user experience. This includes answering potential user questions within the content, working with subject matter experts to gain approval on rewritten content, serving as a content strategist to understand usability best practices and user needs, preparing content for web developers, maintaining website content quality, evaluating and prioritizing requests, managing timelines, collaborating with the localization team, and working closely with internal and external partners.
Applicants should have a BA/BS degree in English, Journalism, Communications or related field, while a Master's degree is preferred.
