Technical Writer

Responsibilities:

• Review JIRA tickets to identify release updates and their impact on documentation.
• Collect necessary information from internal teams.
• Test APIs, create sample requests, and provide example responses for each API.
• Write and publish release notes regularly for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with product managers, SMEs, and engineers to continuously improve documentation.
• Work with internal teams to identify documentation gaps and implement feedback.
• Suggest clear and concise text for web and mobile application interfaces, such as error messages, to enhance user experience.

Skill Set:

• Strong knowledge of industry standard authoring tools, such as Adobe Robohelp, Framemaker, Microsoft Word etc.
• Excellent understanding of the English grammar, style, and writing standards.
• Understanding about HTML and XML basics will be an added advantage.
• Conversant with technology and happy working with technology.
• Ability to understand software products and their application to business processes.
• Strong interpersonal skills, good team player, self-motivated and flexible.
• Ability to work independently with set deadlines and keep multiple projects on track at the same time.
