Job description
Our client is seeking a UX Writer to join their innovative, fast-paced, user-focused team consisting of UX/UI Design, UX Visual Design, UX writing and UX research. This individual will have a passion for digital trends and innovation, combined with an understanding of user experience practices, consumers, technology, and brand experiences. They will assist their product team to study users, solidify requirements and craft experiences that translate business and user needs into highly engaging experiences. They need to be able to influence UX team members with integrity, stay in synch with the brand creatives and partner closely with Product Owners. The UX Writer will be joining on a contractual basis starting ASAP until the end of the year with option to extend.
Responsibilities:
- Work across the product groups, assisting with a successful of UX effort, helping define overall UX vision, and ensure UX teams align with their products plan, delivered by product owners and business owners.
- Work as a hands on UX Writer, influencing the consumer experience and driving through the design.
- Collaborate with your product team, including Product Owners, research and development, to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction. Work alongside UX Design on wireframes, storyboards, user flows, low-fi prototypes and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Rapidly iterate on prototypes and working applications executing all copy needs in stages from concept to wireframe and UI hand off for development. Maintain an organized copy process and documentation.
- Leverage data and consumer insights along with priorities in KPIs and signals to support and validate UX approach. Learn and iterate with support from the UX Research team.
- Maintain a strong connection to brand creatives, brand tone and approach to communications.
Must haves:
- DTC writing experience, conversion copy, succinct writing
