Content Designer (Digital Product Experience)
Location: Downtown Toronto (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite)
Duration: Initial 6-Month Contract (Strong Potential for Extension and/or Permanent Conversion)

What You'll Be Doing
- Own and evolve product content across customer-facing web and mobile experiences.
- Create clear, concise, and user-focused content that simplifies complex workflows and decision-making.
- Translate financial, technical, and regulatory information into easy-to-understand language.
- Drive content strategy for new features, product enhancements, and customer experience initiatives.
- Ensure consistency across customer journeys, digital touchpoints, and transactional experiences.
- Develop and maintain voice, tone, and content standards.
- Collaborate closely with Product, UX Design, Research, Engineering, Legal, and Compliance stakeholders.
- Apply accessibility (WCAG) and plain-language best practices to all content.
- Participate in user research, usability testing, and content validation activities.
- Contribute to content governance frameworks, design systems, and content best practices.
What You Bring
Required Experience
- 2–5+ years of experience in Content Design, UX Writing, Content Strategy, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience creating content for digital products and customer-facing experiences.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating product-focused content work, including workflows, user journeys, transactional experiences, and feature enhancements.
- Exceptional ability to simplify complex concepts and processes for end users.
- Understanding of UX principles, content design methodologies, and accessibility standards.
- Experience working within Agile product teams.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
Nice-to-Have Experience
- Interest in or familiarity with investing, wealth management, personal finance, or financial products.
- Experience working in regulated industries such as financial services, insurance, healthcare, or telecommunications.
- Experience supporting onboarding, self-service, or transactional customer experiences.
- Knowledge of content governance, taxonomy, structured content, or design systems.
- Experience leveraging research, analytics, and customer feedback to inform content decisions.
