Position: Starting off as a 6 month contract with a potential of conversion or extension.
Key Responsibilities
Own and evolve content systems, including voice and tone guidelines, terminology frameworks, and editorial standards.
Collaborate closely with design, research, product management, and engineering to develop cohesive and accessible user experiences.
Translate complex ideas into clear, concise, and user-friendly language across interfaces such as apps, websites, onboarding flows, notifications, and help content.
Champion the role of UX writing across the organization and advocate for the user through data-informed decisions.
Review and approve team deliverables to ensure alignment with brand standards, legal requirements, and business goals.
Lead workshops, critiques, and cross-functional alignment sessions to ensure a unified content vision across the product.
Stay current on UX writing and content design trends, tools, and best practices.
Requirements
7+ years of experience in UX writing, content design, or product writing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or mentorship role.
A portfolio showcasing exceptional UX writing and content strategy work for digital products.
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and accessibility standards.
Experience working with design systems, Figma, content guidelines, and design tokens.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
Comfortable with ambiguity and able to move projects forward in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Nice to Have
Experience with localization/internationalization.
Background in behavioral psychology, design thinking, or content research.
Familiarity with A/B testing tools and analytics platforms.
