Technical Writer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Technical Writer to join our team on a 3 month contract to work across various teams to make sure all documents are aligned. The role will involve collaborating with various departments to gather information, produce high-quality documentation, and ensure the accuracy and consistency of our content in line with ISO 27001, ISO 22301, and ISO 9001 standards.

Key outcomes of the role

• Collaboration: Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with business needs and regulatory requirements
• Documentation: Review existing documents and templates to ensure consistency. Review documented procedures for responding to business continuity incidents, including roles and responsibilities, communication protocols, and post-incident review processes. Develop a plan for regular testing and exercising of BCP’s including scenarios, schedules, and evaluation criteria. Document key processes, procedures, and workflows to ensure consistent quality across the division. This includes process maps, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions. Develop procedures for capturing, analysing, and responding to customer feedback and complaints. Establish a system for controlling QMS documents and maintaining records, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 requirements
• Template Development: Create standardised templates for all ISMS, BCMS, and QMS documentation to ensure consistency and ease of use
• Progress Reports: Provide regular progress reports on the status of documentation development, including any challenges and proposed solutions

About you

Proven experience as a Technical Writer in a similar role, preferably within the software or tech industry.

• Experienced in ISO 27001 and ISO 9001
