In this role, you'll:

  • You'll be working as part of a team delivering clear, concise and user-friendly technical documentation, including Vehicle Safety Information Sheets, Third Party Operator Guides, Vehicle Inspection Rules and other educational materials ensuring alignment with organisational standards and requirements.
  • This role will see you develop and maintain accessible documentation by collaborating with engineering, compliance, legal and cross-functional teams, gathering and translating complex technical information into user friendly formats.
  • You will balance the requirements of the documentation ensuring adherence to regulatory frameworks while working to tight deadlines and stakeholder expectations ensuring consistent, high-quality output across diverse technical (automotive) subject areas.

About You

Your experience working in Technical Writing, Content Management or Communications within regulatory organisations, including experience in automotive manufacturing environments with OEM or manufacturer training standards, are highly regarded. You will demonstrate the ability to decipher complex technical and engineering information and turn it into clear, easy-to-understand documentation.

You will have a strong capability with Microsoft Office and content management systems involving technical communication and/or standards and/or, engineering-adjacent documentation. You will have the ability to meet tight deadlines, overcome challenges created by evolving regulations and standards, and bringing structured, processes to lead to improved usability, consistency and accessibility of technical content.

You're recognized as a highly effective communicator, skilled at translating technical information clearly and concisely, experienced in collaborating with subject matter experts, uplifting documentation quality, and enhancing organisational knowledge systems.
