Cyber Command, headed by the Chief Information Security Officer of the City of New York, leads the cybersecurity portfolio within New York City (NYC), and is charged with protecting city systems that deliver mission essential services to New Yorkers. Cyber Command does this through providing defense in depth cybersecurity services to New York City agencies and offices. This is done by providing support to over 100 agencies and offices to identify, protect, detect, respond, and recover from cyber threats. Cyber Command works closely with the divisions within the Office of Technology and Innovation (OTI) to serve agencies by enabling technology innovation through security, while providing best in class security services to customers. Cyber Command is committed to strengthening the City's cybersecurity capabilities and defensive posture, and is dedicated to providing best in class services to NYC agencies and offices.
