PTP was founded in 1997 with the sole objective of providing “Best-in-Class” IT staffing resources to the Chicagoland business community. The company was originally known as Solutions 2000 Inc. and in 2003 became Peterson Technology Partners honoring its origins on Peterson Avenue.

The company started as a provider of H1B sponsored-employees and a 3rd party agency placing candidates nationwide. PTP found its stride when it turned its focus to providing local talent to Chicago businesses.
