Our client, a leading provider of employee benefits solutions, is looking for an experienced Sr Content Writer / Copywriter to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating engaging and persuasive content that effectively communicates the value of our products and services to our target audience. This is a fully remote contract-to-hire position, candidates in EST/CST preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop compelling content strategies that align with business objectives
- Write clear, concise, and persuasive copy for various marketing materials including website copy, landing pages, email campaigns, social media posts, blog articles, whitepapers etc.
- Conduct thorough research on industry trends and competitive analysis to inform content creation
- Develop a deep understanding of our target audience and tailor messaging accordingly
- Ensure all content is in line with brand guidelines and maintains consistent voice and tone
- Edit and proofread copy for accuracy in grammar, spelling, punctuation etc.
- Collaborate with designers to create visually appealing layouts that enhance the impact of written content
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices in copywriting and incorporate them into daily work
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in English Literature or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience as a Content Writer or Copywriter within the B2B space
- Exceptional writing skills with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse writing styles across different channels (website copy, email campaigns etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to write persuasive yet concise copy that drives engagement and conversion
- Proficiency in SEO best practices for optimizing web content is highly desirable
- Familiarity with HR/employee benefits industry is a plus
- Experience working remotely or independently is preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality output
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
