Job description

We're looking for a talented Senior Content Designer to join a dynamic team at a leading healthcare and pharmacy organization. If you thrive at the intersection of content, design, and user experience, this role is for you.

You'll champion our client's users by crafting intuitive, meaningful content that simplifies their journey—drawing on your expertise in UX best practices, accessibility, and content strategy.

In this role, you'll shape microcopy, navigational content, and scalable content models for retail pharmacy products. You'll collaborate with designers, product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to optimize user experiences across multiple channels and devices, while advancing our strategic focus on data-driven content solutions and information architecture.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop clear, user-centric microcopy and content for digital products, ascended, ensuring usability, consistency, and adherence to enterprise standards.
  • Drive content modeling initiatives to create scalable, standardized content structures, leveraging data science and UX research to reduce friction and uncover opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—designers, researchers, product managers, and accessibility experts—to shape positive user experiences.
  • Optimize content creation processes, enabling self-service capabilities for stakeholders and designers.
  • Own content reviews, iterations, and feature work, solving business challenges with occasional manager support.
  • Add content directly to wireframes using tools like Figma or publishing systems, ensuring proper voice and tone.
  • Participate in or lead workshops and content critiques to elevate team output.

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in UX writing, UX design, or content design.
  • 2+ years working with Agile/lean UX practices and tools like Jira or Rally.
  • 2+ years of experience with mobile app/web products and multi-disciplinary projects using Figma, Miro, or similar.
  • Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, or regulated industries (e.g., insurance, finance).
  • Strong portfolio showcasing mobile apps, digital products, or human-centered designs.
  • Knowledge of enterprise CMS (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager) and analyzing usability testing, A/B testing, or analytics.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in HCI, Information Architecture, Technical Writing, English, Journalism, or equivalent experience/certifications in UX.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience in large organizations or enterprise settings.
  • Familiarity with WCAG, usability testing, design systems, or taxonomy development.
  • Exposure to tools like WriterAI, Adobe Analytics, Usertesting.com, Copilot, or Voiceflow.
  • Proven success scaling content initiatives or updating content to new guidelines.

Team & Environment:

Join a tight-knit team of 8, collaborating remotely (US-based, CST hours).

Work with a broader design group to promote scalable, impactful content solutions.

Fully remote contract role with potential for full-time conversion (not guaranteed).

Interview Process:

Initial chat with the hiring manager.

Panel interview with key stakeholders (if needed).

Fast-tracked process—we're ready to move quickly!

Why Join Our Client?
