Senior Content Designer – AI Experiences
Pay Rate: $60.00/hour
Overview
We are seeking a Senior Content Designer to support AI-powered digital experiences. This role goes beyond traditional UX writing and focuses on shaping how AI-driven products communicate, respond, and guide users through language. As part of a cross-functional team, you will design conversational experiences, establish content frameworks, and create clear, compliant, and user-focused interactions. You will collaborate closely with Product, Design, Engineering, Data, and Compliance partners to ensure AI-generated content is accurate, helpful, and aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design conversational experiences where language serves as the primary user interface
- Create structured response patterns, prompts, and reusable content frameworks
- Define and evolve voice, tone, and behavioral guidelines for AI-driven interactions
- Develop content guardrails to address risk, ambiguity, and regulated scenarios
- Translate complex concepts into clear, concise, user-facing content
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Data, and Compliance teams to ensure safe and accurate AI outputs
- Contribute to scalable content systems, including taxonomy, patterns, and knowledge structures
- Support usability testing and assess the quality and effectiveness of AI-generated responses
- Advocate for content best practices and contribute to a consistent user experience across digital products
Qualifications
Must-Have Qualifications
- 4–6+ years of experience in Content Design, UX Writing, Content Strategy, or a related discipline
- Strong ability to simplify complex information and reduce ambiguity through clear, thoughtful language
- Experience working within Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Systems-thinking mindset with the ability to create scalable content patterns and frameworks
- Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and WCAG best practices
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience designing conversational, AI, chatbot, or system-driven content
- Experience within financial services or another highly regulated industry
- Familiarity with content quality measurement, evaluation frameworks, or governance models
- Experience working with emerging AI technologies and large language model experiences
