Technical Writer

Akkodis is seeking a Hybrid Technical Writer for a 3-month contract job with a client in Sacramento, CA. You will need to be an experienced Technical Writer to develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation for its products. Hybrid: Onsite 2 days a week.

Rate Range: $45.00/hour to $50.00/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Hybrid Technical Writer job responsibilities include:

• Responsible for creating user manuals, technical data sheets, and other customer-facing documentation
• Translating complex engineering and technical concepts into clear, easy-to-understand language.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience using Heretto and DITA for structured authoring and content management required
• Proven experience creating user manuals, technical documentation, and product data sheets
• Strong ability to simplify technical terminology for end users
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail
• Construction industry experience preferred
