Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Technical Writer to develop, refine, and document finance and accounting policies, procedures and controls. This role will work closely with finance, compliance, and internal audit teams to create clear, comprehensive, and accessible documentation that supports financial governance and regulatory compliance.

Overview of the Role and Technical Writer - Accounting and Finance Policies:
- The Technical Writer will develop, standardize, and maintain finance and accounting policies and procedures in alignment with regulatory requirements
- The Technical Writer will collaborate with finance, compliance, audit, and legal teams to gather information and translate complex financial concepts into clear, concise documentation
- Write and edit technical documents, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), control guidelines, and compliance manuals
- Ensure documentation is structured, accurate, and user-friendly for finance professionals, auditors, and regulatory bodies
- Assist in implementing version control and document management processes to ensure consistency and accessibility
- Conduct periodic reviews and updates to ensure policies remain current
- Provide training materials and support to teams to understand and comply with newly developed polocies
Preferred Qualifications for the Technical Writer - Accounting and Finance policies:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, English, Technical Writing, or a related field
- 5 years of technical writing - preferably within Finance, Accounting or highly regulated industry
- Strong understanding of finance principles
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills with strong attention to detail
