Salary: $65,000 - 75,000

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join our team in the aerospace sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of technical concepts and be able to create clear and comprehensive documentation for our products, including drones and UAV systems. Your work will be essential in supporting engineering teams and ensuring that our clients and stakeholders have access to accurate and helpful information.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain technical documentation for aerospace products, including user manuals, installation guides, and maintenance procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to gather information on hardware and software components.
• Ensure that all documentation meets quality standards and is consistent with company branding and style guidelines.
• Conduct reviews of documentation to ensure accuracy, clarity, and completeness.
• Work with subject matter experts to translate complex technical information into user-friendly content.
• Manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in the aerospace, defense, avionics, drone, or engineering sectors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail.
• Proficient in documentation tools and software, such as MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, or Microsoft Word.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
